Zero-latency plugins - list

Thought this list of zero-latency plugins could help especially beginners to Gig Performer to minimize the overall latency in their setup, if they are using fx plugins.
In my live setup, including a Presonus Studio 26c audio/midi interface and all connections over USB C, the responce is mostly like touching a real hardware.

And maybe there are other zero-latency plugins to complete this list?

Curious – with your Presonus sound card, what buffer size and sample rate do you use?

The sound board has nothing to do with the latency a plugin is generating within itself.

I realize that. But I run an old FireWire card and you mentioned you have a USB-C sound card. I am just wondering what buffer size and sample rate you run with.

44,1 kHz and buffer 512 samples.
The timing feels the same or a bit better than the korg kronos I’ve owned and used before.

Interesting. I find 512 far too “soft”. I can mostly get away with 256 but I generally stick to 128

Hmm. I will try a smaller buffer tomorrow. Maybe this will be FAR better than the korg kronos?

Just a short mention, ot doesnt matter if audio is plugged or not. Open a plugin, leave it unconnected and you will stoll get its latency when hovering the mouse over it.

Very cool - here is a list on my PC I came up with, but without any of my Waves plugins yet.

Cool, but you could also create the list in the written form
(so it is more likely for someone to find the thread using search engines)

Would be nice to be able to export the plugins as a list…

Until Plugins in Use arrives, here’s what can be done in v4.5.8

Just so fast and simple :grinning:

Yes Mr. Pudar, It was very time consuming to do it this way too. I posted this before I saw that a new feature was coming to export a list of plugins. I also mentioned it would be great if it could export the latency for each as well. I am not sure if that will be included. I just loaded up each of my plugins and checked to make sure it was a zero latency plugin, and if not, moved on to the next plugin. Then aligned them by category, and used a midi out block, which I renamed for each cat. It would be a nice feature as well to have text block, just for this purpose, as well as some others, where just a label is needed in wiring view for whatever. Or in other words… a fake block, just to add text to.

Oh man! I knew there was something like this I totally forgot about. THANKS
