Select rackspace from Akai LPD8 pad

Hi,

I want a specific pad on my controller to be linked to a specific rackspace, but can’t find a way to do it. It seems so simple, yet so hard. I can select rackspaces via program changes without a problem. But with a pad I just can’t figure out how. I know the pad sends out a note message, but where to link that?

Thanks! So should I copy the script into Gig Script and swap Launchkey with LPD8 or is it a little more complicated? I guess the latter?

I honestly haven’t much looked at the script there, but if you’re going that route you’ll want to define an alias for your controller in the Rig Manager. Then use that alias name in the script instead of the launchkey.
