Will a faster processor help? I want to buy a faster computer. What type of processor is best for this purpose?
You should think about optimizing your plugin usage.
You could resample massive X or Super 8 or your massive Kontakt Libraries.
How it is made?
For example SampleRobot or this
I am using BLISS to resample CPU demanding sounds and import the SFZ file into Kontakt.
Saves a lot of CPU
If I understand correctly, will those samples be adjusted to a lower frequency? Will it not be at the expense of sound quality?
I can say about BLISS - but SampleRobot should do the same:
You can define the lowest and Highest Note to be sampled.
Then you define if each not should be sampled or for example every 5th
And you can define how many velocity levels should be samples per note.
And you can define how much time should be sampled per note before cross fade loop is applied.
So when you sample every note with e.g. 10 velocity levels and the time is the longest played time =>
your sample will sound like the original.
But keep in mind to sample without time based effect, only the rough sound.
Sampling a organ with fast Leslie speed will sound strange when played back.
When I resample I apply all effects I need after the sampled instrument.
I apologize in advance for the nonsensical questions. It’s all new to me. I’ve never done things like that.
If I understand correctly, are only used samples resampled, or samples from the entire database?
BLISS loads an VST instrument and plays the note you want and resamples it.
Then you get a lot of wav-files which are referenced as sound font files.
This you can load in Kontakt - all mappings are made automatically - and save as a Kontakt instrument.
SampleRobot works similar, but with SampleRobot you can resample Hardware Synths - BLISS cannot do that.
So all the original installed samples will remain unchanged?
Yes, sure
So it works similarly to “Global purge” in Kontakt?
Not at all
Here is a good video
Thank you very much, Paul,
you helped me a lot. Now, and in the past.

I haven’t had good luck with BLISS in the past. Has it gotten better?
Yes, a little but.
The big changes will come with V 2.0
I am using it as a resampler, Build Sfz and import that with Kontakt 5.
Build a nki and at the end load it in Kontakt.
And for that use case it is very good, also the cross fade loops are working good.
How do I load samples from Super 8, Massive X and Hammond IK for processing? Can Bliss load samples from these plugins? Would you please send me some links on this topic, please? I don’t understand it at all. Many thanks.

Thank you, Npudar, I’m beginning to understand a little. Pretty hard for me so far. A long way ahead of me.
