I got an email question how I got the text-status from the SooperLooper on my rack. SooperLopper has no Status Feedback - that’s why I’m using a simple GPscript → if a buttons / widget will be pushed → the status text should be updated. Attached a simple rack sample with 2 tracks of SooperLooper + switch between the 2 loops.Oh, and the auto-volume-fader …

Maybe it’s helpful - I added a new little helper to my simple setup!
My setup is so small, I don’t have any extra keys on my keyboards (ROLI Seaboard and Keystation) for e.g. next or previous variations … therefore (I use this 3 button version):
I’m using the 3 button keys with a simple GPscript command like:
And if you want, they can connect via Bluetooth.

Hello and happy holidays!
A quick update - after 11 years with my lovely Macbook (last 2013) I’ve taken the plunge - leaving everything behind and starting almost from scratch. I was tied to El Capitan due to outdated hardware (interface, light controller, etc.) but now I need something new and all in 64bit without compromise - even if I will miss a lot of sounds.
It’s wonderful, just that the new sounds are fresher, it’s also a great help that with the Aggregate device you can switch them on and off during Gig Performer (wasn’t possible with El Capitan)… also I can now use OSC with Ableton and of course everything starts up a lot faster. I’m also very excited about the MPE plug-ins - I’ve had to make compromises in the past. Anyway, I’m looking forward to new projects that I couldn’t have done with the old hardware.

you want updates … yes, here they are … you can listen out some of my new fresh sounds … so many things are now easier - the soundcard can be plugged out and in - and it works, with el capitan no chance = restart GP, that’s helpful because I’m using the aggregate audio functionality … so check out my new special GP video

I can see benefits, but is there any downside/risk in always using an aggregate device (even if there is not more than 1 soundcard involved)
