Hi guys, im getting crackling and pops. I am running Tritone Extreme VST only.
I have an optimised system and all has been double checked.
I went back to basics withing gig performer only setup one vst the Triton no efx on quite a lot of the sounds i get crackling etc. If I run the Triton on the desktop as a stand alone without Gig Performer it works perfect clean no issues on any sounds. I have tried every Buffer size withing GP anything less the 512 is bad. CPU runs under 20% Any Help would be appreciated Thank you..Alan
Ok, is this a new problem or was it always happening? If it is a new problem, what changed? Have you updated your system, device, drivers, OS, audio interface? What other plugins have you used?
Are you on Mac or Windows? What does Gig Performer’s CPU meter indicate when you’re playing and when it’s stopped?
Hi, thanks for your respone. I’m Running win 11..CPU part is all good.
Some months back I had set all this up for live performance but gave it away because of this problem. Tried it with my Steiberg UR 22 also with Audio 6 Mk 2. A few weeks i thought i would give it another go and same problem. Its not real bad but enough for it to be unusalble live. As i mentioned running as a stand alone no issues at all.. Cheers
Please answer ALL the questions — I don’t know what “CPU part is all good” means!
Edit: and now that I see you’re on Windows, what audio driver are you using?
After you respond to dhj"s inquiry (main GP developer), maybe check this thread:

The Cpu percentage reading in GP sits under 20 when a vst is not being played at rasiers to just under 30 with certain sounds. Never higher with the Triton VST. As i mentioned previously there are no crackles or pops when running the Stadalone Vst or within Cubase.. Thanks you Alan
