This was posted Feb 2024, so the developers definitely had this type of effect in mind awhile ago When I was thinking about all of this, sometimes the biggest problem is trying to figure out what we are exactly looking for, even if we know what it sounds like!
Make sure you read the replies to @dhj’s post. @edm refers to a plugin from pizmidi, which is linked to another post about that and others developed by him. (I think?)
