This is the best thread to share your stories if you migrated from one platform to another

How to handle Streaming Audio File Player audio tracks between multiple computers → LINK

That link for whatever reason redirects me to a YouTube video on how to set up AVB on Macs. While useful, it’s not exactly cross platform (without additional hardware).

What link?

Can anybody reproduce?

The YouTube video about AVB on Macs is in the blog post, but the cross-platform link you posted above goes to the blog post itself for me, not the video.

That’s how it should be :+1:

Serum and TX16Wx support embedding the audio file in their state and so they are not looking for the files on local disk.

TX16Wx is FREE and both simple (only after watching a short video tutorial) and powerful, also it takes very low CPU when playing.

When you use a lot of samples your gig file will become a monster.

I have two MacBooks loaded but only travel with one. I do travel with an SSD loaded with all of my vst’s and samples/triggers stored on it.
With gig files being completely compatible with Mac OS and Windows I can always run to Walmart and buy a cheapo laptop and the show goes on.
