As I said, no problem, I could fix this, if you know GP, that is easy.
But if I had read the performance notes, I I would have known sooner… sorry.
@ Narf: By the way: Thank you, the sounds are awesome!
Hmm, on Maniac, the ongoing noise effect (da da da da) is that part of the NARF sounds? It is locked in in the tempo via an arpeggiator? Would this mean you need a click track to do this one?
The way I’ve seen other band’s perform it is that the keyboard player plays it at the beginning and the drummer takes over from there. I captured a single bar loop from the original recording and put it in the SMP for this demo
So I sent out a survey for songs to include for my 80s set last week and one of the top choices in the list was The Best by Tina Turner. I recently found out that the sounds for The Best by Tina Turner were predominantly played on a Roland D-50 when I found an outstanding recreation of the sounds on YouTube that named the specific presets used. Thanks to my lack of self control, I bought my synth-collector friend’s mint D-50 the next day which I originally intended to sample for the sound pack. But in the end I felt that it wouldn’t be in line with being a set based on the Arturia V-Collection. So I called up the preset patches on the D-50 and recreated the individual layers using the Prophet VS, DX7 V, Jup-8 and the Emulator II V. Here’s the result:
