Weird issue…My computer is making a sound as if the keyboard is being pressed and it is not a shortcut when in certain menus. Every time I open a pop up to change a value with the keyboard it closes after a second of being open. When in the settings of Gig Performer the “ding” from my system that the keyboard has been pressed and there is no key command that matches dings every second or so. It is not coming out of the audio interface I have in Gig Performer, luckily, possibly because I have my system settings on the Mac set to send notifications to the built in speakers. I have got by by making changes in popups quickly and a little at time but it is driving me crazy. I even installed an app to monitor keyboard presses on my computer to no avail. Please help!!!
What happens if you disconnect your keyboard while GP is open?
I am running on a MacBook Pro so I can’t really disconnect the built in keyboard. I have disconnected my external bluetooth keyboard and mouse and the issue continues.
Disable system sounds.

Use Do not disturb mode.
I think I found the issue. Sorry for the bother. I opened Activity Monitor to see what processes were running. I started systematically quitting them and re-checking Gig Performer. I found the one that was causing the issue. I have an app on here called “Witch” for switching applications. When I quit the “witchdaemon” process that was running in the background the issues no longer persist. Something in that app was conflicting with Gig Performer.
OK, is this the app?
