Sustain pedal is reacting with my bass guitar and keys at the same time

Hey my bass guitar is activating with my sustain pedal, and keys. I don’t want the bass to have sustain how do I stop that when I’m splitting?

Just use two separate MIDI In blocks (same underlying device) and block the sustain messages on the block that is connected to bass

Yep, I think that’s the easy way.

Just create one midi block for the bass and another midi block for the piano (or whatever).

Create keyboard splits so the bass only plays below a certain point in the bass Midi In Block and the piano (or whatever) only plays above that point in the Piano Midi In block.

And then just block sustain in the midi in block for the bass.
