Steinberg VST3 Plugins Failed to Load (Windows 11)

I recently purchased Gig Performer. When loading the plugins all my plugins are loaded correctly apart from the Steinberg VST3 plugins. Gig Performer finds these plugins correctly in the common folder, however it does not load them and as info it provides ‘Failed’.

Which Steinberg plugins?

Retrologue, Padshpop, Loopmash, Halion Sonic, Grove Agent,

Spectralayers,

That one seems to be an ARM plugin - are you running Intel or ARM?

Also, have you actually authorized the plugins? If I remember, Steinberg has a rather onerous authorization program you have to run before those plugins will work and they probably won’t validate either if not authorized.

Are those the versions of the plugins installed with Cubase or Nuendo? If so, I think they only work within those apps (by design).

Dont know why there is an ARM plugin. May be during installation I did not remove the tick on ARM.

I am running an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics (4.00 GHz). My Steinberg plugins are authorized. They all come with CUBASE PRO and they work. I use them in CUBASE as well as in VST Live.

This could be the reason. I was not aware of this limitation. I thought I had used Halion during the Trial periode of Gig Performer. May be I am wrong.

Yeah, I didn’t even think of that but yes – many DAWs include proprietary versions of their plugins so unless you buy the standalone versions (if they’re even available), it won’t work.

@edm11 … BRILLIANT :slight_smile:

Thanks guys, then it is clear.
