Soundcheck Reaper to X32 to GP4 to X32 GP4

Not enough—10 instances of 2 channels each.

For more complex virtual routing, check out VB-Audio Matrix.

That does look complex lol. Its free though so wouldnt be any harm to try out. Just wish there was a more simple way to to this. You would think they would have thought about the need being a live software to be able to do a virtual souncheck somehow. The artists are impatient and the drummers foot gets tired when trying to dial the instruments in, that is if they even show up early enough lol

You’re talking about routing 32 channels through 2 different apps using Windows. There’s nothing simple at all in that kind of routing, and unless your audio device is multi-client ASIO capable, you’re forced to use virtual routing to accomplish the goal.

GP itself, and really any plugin host or DAW, is limited to the capabilities and capacities of the audio hardware that is attached to the computer using it. Virtual-cable software like Matrix exists to help with some complex routing when the hardware itself is limited in what it can provide.

VB-matrix isn’t free. After a month a nag-screen appears that will make you wait for a minute or so. But it is also not very expensive, although the license is bound to one computer.

VB-matrix coconut includes 2 virtual asio adapters with 256 channels (among a lot of smaller adapters: 128, 64, 32, 8).
