Hello All…
I use one of two audio interfaces when I use GP, and wonder if there is a simple way to select which one on application start up.
For example, two gig-files. One for either interface.
Cheers…!!

Create two instances and select the desired audio interface: [blog] How to use multiple instances in Gig Performer 4
Note: if an interface isn’t connected, Gig Performer will use the built-in card.
Hi…
Sorry for not being clear.
I don’t use both at the same time. Just trying to avoid the time taken to reconfigure when GP detects a different I/O is being used.
Cheers…!!
@FourPawsMedia that’s what @npudar tried to say: use a dedicated instance with one soundcard and your gigfile and in an other instance the same gig file with the other soundcard.
Create a wrapper or start scripts to start either instance.
I do sometzhing similar with my main instance (main soundcard) and an additional instance with the built in and a reduced gig file for testing…
Can the “desired audio interface” be the same audio interface? If so, how?

What is your audio interface model?
Does it have multi-client drivers?
Are you on Windows or macOS?
