Resampling is a chance, yes. Until now I decided to use others plugins. Some efforts but it worked. Point is that psychologically I will never use Sampletank 4 to find a sound to tweak. I will start with something else.
Bad thing is that IK Multimedia support is not supporting at all. Arturia (for example) is much more active.
I got Sampletank when I bought Syntronik 2 MAX. I have access to all of my Syntronik instruments in Sampletank. I’m not sure if Syntronik plays Sampletank synths or the other way around. Anyway, I’m just wondering if you can access your Sampletank sounds/presets in Syntronik, and if so, does Syntronik work where Sampletank didn’t?
I had my bad experience with a piano sound. So it wasn’t Syntronik.
But the macro structure is guilty and this makes Syntronik dangerous too, I am afraid.
Point is that I use Arturia and Cherry Audio when I need a synth. Much more fun than a rompler like Syntronik
As a Roland Guitar Synth guy I like the Zenology stuff a lot and the Arturia stuff is also excellent. Zenology has that cloud copy protection though which hasn’t been a problem for me but I don’t like th idea of being at a gig where it asks for it. Like I said never been an issue yet though.
I deleted all Roland stuff from my computer when I forgot to run Roland cloud for some days and one gig was endangered by errors in rackspaces. I pay, I want my software to work always.
Just out of curiosity what happened to your gig file?
I changed my gig file, choosing something else than Sampletank for all rackspaces. It was a piano with effects, I now use Pianoteq with Mixbox.
