I don’t know if safe mode disables duet display. When you click the button with the three dots to bring up that menu, are you saying that menu just disappears?
I’m pretty sure duet display is disabled in Safe mode.
Yes the menu you are pointing at just flashes and disappears.
I will uninstall duet to be sure and reboot in safe mode for extra caution.
So to be clear, you are clicking on the button that brings up that menu and that menu instantly disappears?
I don’t know if duet has anything to do with this but something is clearly interfering.

So thanks to David we figured it out! There is a setting in Accessibility/Keyboard/ Full Keyboard Access
that was throwing everything out of wack!! The clue was there were some odd blue boarders that were popping up around windows. Thank you David for your time and dedication!!
