I had that situation with a plugin which was NKS Ready and in the installation it made changes so that others had issues.

Therefore it seems to be impossible to avoid plugins that crash.
I disagree.
Most users have been playing or touring for many years without a single crash, using lots of plugins - count me in that group.
You just need to test thoroughly during design and rehearsal and then don’t update stuff unless you really need some new feature.
