[Rackspace] NDSP: Gojira X (complete)

Hi,
i’m glad you liked those rackspaces!
Here is the link to my Cory Wong rackspace:

You also could have used the forum search (like i had to)… a search for “cory” brought up the desired threads instantly.
For more information on that rackspace you should also visit the contained link to the corresponding discussion thread!
There is a subforum for “Gig and Rackspace Files” which holds tons of ready made rackspaces and gig files for all kinds of occasions… crawl through it, and you most probably will find some more stuff you like: Gig and Rackspace Files - Gig Performer Community

Unfortunately no. The internal preset system of plugins is mostly not accessible from the outside.
But, like with all of this kind of rackspaces (every parameter of the plugin is mirrored in a widget on the panel), you can create a new rackspace variation, then open the plugin and select your desired plugin-preset (this will then set all the widgets accordingly) and thus you can use this rackspace variation like it was the underlying preset.
This works that easily with variations, since variations only store the state of every widget on a rackspace panel, and because every single plugin parameter has its own widget, a variation can recall a whole plugin’s preset. This only works because of the widgets! If there would be missin a widget/parameter pair, this couldn’t be recalled by a variation!
You can of course use a Action marker in the Streaming Audio File Player (SAFP) to automatcally switch to a rackspace/variation.

But you simply could use the basic “Rackspace” mechanics to store the settings of a preset, the rackspace itself stores the state of every plugin that’s used in it - no matter of widgets being present or not. Just make a rackspace, use any plugins at will in the wiring view and this rackspace (not the variation!) will remeber every setting on activation.
But you will have to create a separate rackspace for each “preset” you want to use, which is not a big deal… don’t be afraid in advance of possible RAM-usage or CPU-stall.
First try, then ask or complain! :beers:

Sure. It’s just a text label. Just activate Edit mode and change it to “Herbert” or whatever you like.

Maybe @Ipkz can tell something about those circles…
