OP-X 2 and 3, change patch random problem

Of course, @Basty85, @SirTommes, @Krucible, @tripleB, @mikelupo, @Beatlab, @jazzundso, @ahutnick, @jeebustrain, @Milesmf, @billw, @waltercruz, @Tsunami.Warning, @DKnight71, @drbob2112, if you use the Win OP-X Pro 3 version, we hope to have a feedback from you.

Ok I installed this 1.0.4 version on my Windows machine. I don’t know how to display the splash screen to confirm the version. But the problem seems worse now, as it won’t recall any OP-X 3 preset at all while Predictive Loading is activated in GP.

The OP-X GUI might show the correct patch when you open it within a Rackspace, but the sound is the default first patch in OP-X each time, Matrix Softstrings II.

Actually the GUI is all over the place. Patch number not matching patch name.

Oh nooo! Don’t tell me that! I tested the beta version for this fix with:

The beta version of this fix and it worked flawlessly with a Predictive Loading depth of 3.

With which exact GP version did you test and what is your Predictive Loading depth?

Are you certain you’re using the new version? Did you actually uninstall aand remove all remnants of the old one before installing the new one? And then rescan? What does GP’s plugin manager say about the version? Is it possible you have multiple versions of that plugin installed?

I did not uninstall the old version first. And actually I did see the splash screen now and it says 1.0.4. GP 4.8.2

Predictive Loading set to 3

Ok it seems to work fine using the sample files you sent. I have no idea what would be wrong with my simple 10 space OP-X rack with a different preset in each one. So weird.

Please, replace the patches in your gig files by the right patches, save the gig file and try again.

I just removed all old versions and reinstalled 1.0.4. I then tested by creating a new gig file, with 10 OP-X Rackspaces, each with a different patch, PL set to 3, still random patch recall problems all over the place.

If/when you try to duplicate the issue, please make sure you actually play each patch, because Ive notice it will display a certain patch in the GUI, but the sound will be the OP-X default first patch that you hear.

I cannot explain why Peter’s sample files seem to work, but my saved gig files do not.

I even took Peter’s file (which seems to work great with Predictive Loading on) with the Rackspace he saved in there. BUT then I tried to add my own Rackspace, with OP-X 3, and it will not recall the correct patch.

If you start from scratch rather than trying to an existing file, does it work?

Starting from scratch, same issue.

Peter’s Rackspaces that are save in his file seem to recall correct all the time. BUT if I add my own Rackspace to Peter’s file with OP-X 3, the patch will not recall correctly. Its really bizarre.

Coud you please post your own test gig file here?

Rackspaces 8 and 9 were added by me and they do not work when I save a patch and try to recall it. Rackspace 10 is a copy of one of Peter’s Rackspaces and it recalls fine, as do 1 thru 7.

Here is a gig file I created from scratch, Patches always recall correctly with Predictive Loading off. When I activate PL with a setting of 3, each patch recalls the correct patch name in the GUI, but the sound is always the default first patch, Matrix Softstrings II.
