MOTU - Cyclic crashes during startup

Hello all, a new GP user suddenly experiencing constant crashes upon startup looking for cause/ solution. Here are the essential details in chronological order:

-New install 4-6-2026, flawless installation

-watched several introduction to GP videos plus read bulk of user guide

-Created new Gig space and 2 test rackspaces to get familiar with organization and application potential

- Created 16 rackspaces all except 1with blank panels, totally glitch free with super fast song to song transition

-Single rackspace with a panel consist of simple media streaming player ‘PLAY’ start button learned to midi pedal switch

-1 setlist comprised of the above 16 rackspaces none of which consume more than 45% CPU on GP meter

-Program begins to have startup issues

-monitoring windows task manager for CPU and RAM logistics, all within good performance margin

-replaced built in metronome sound with one from reaper samples

-attempted to to start with ‘SHIFT’ key depressed and toggle all options…no change in crash behavior

-attempted predictive loading, all startup options on menu with no change

-attempted new songlist with a single song to save and startup with no change

- noticed clock override to master somehow auto deselected between all the rackspaces and songlist?

-program now has a bootup success rate of about 1 in 10 attempts

-program once booted however appears to function perfectly except for the above noted clock issue in songlist

-Typical error log attached****SAYS NEW USERS CAN’T attach???

-MOTU M4 44100/128 buffer

-HP Pavilion with 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz (2.80 GHz) and 16 GB RAM

-WIN 11

-VST’s used: Arturia 11, Korg V, Addictive XLN, reaper metronome sounds

-Studiologic SL73 controller via USB

Thanks to All

bf3551de-06f4-4f7f-8fed-ba14911e250f.zip (22.2 KB)

So the file GP crash report 20250524.txt (112.6 KB) can be ignored?

Yes I believe I was reading the zipped contents however however in retrospec, the .txt may be the sample used in the example

This is crashing: C:\Program Files (x86)\MOTU\CoreUAC\x64\MOTUCoreUACASIO.dll

Are you running the latest MOTU drivers and accompanying software?
A library related to the MOTU is crashing.

MOTU has released an update and it certainly appears to have a dramatic positive effect. Big thanks to the GP Crew!
