I’m considering buying the new MC8. one thing I would love to do is take advantage of the screens. Is there a way of programming the MC8 to show the song part or song name from the set list view.
This would be invaluable during performances.

I made some small updates for the MC8 Pro. I’ll push them up to the GitHub sometime this weekend, along with an MC8 Pro preset bank designed to work with the extension.
ok, im gonna be honest I read through the Github instruction and I’m lost. ill give it another read but I think im gonna need some assistance.
I put a new release on the GitHub site, which includes an updated demo gigfile.
You should be able to just put the extension in the appropriate extensions folder, pick a bank on the MC8 Pro and import the MC8 Pro bank from the GitHub page into that, the open up the demo gigfile and it should work. What you want to do with it from there can be as simple or complex as you want to make it.

it’s coming up with a malware warning, say that GP doesn’t trust the developer and cannot open
You must be on a Mac.
I believe Apple gives that warning for anything that’s not officially code signed by a recognized developer. Not being a Mac user, I’m not sure what the process is to get around that. Hopefully somebody on a Mac that’s used GP extensions can chime in.

thank you again, I found the MC8 pro PDF docs. after a good read its all making a lot more sense.
