Thanks @David-san and @djogon. I do have a “play/pause” button, and a “play from beginning” button. But what I am experiencing is that (during practice) if I am using Rackspace 1 and pause the player, then select Rackspace 2, then go back to Rackspace 1…the Rackspace 1 player starts playing automatically from the point at which I paused. If I let the player finish playing the audio file everything stops normally, as expected.
I’ll try the playhead position widget idea. That may be the solution I need. I’ll let you know how that goes.
UPDATE: Solved, thanks all. Using “Value” tab for a widget was the key, I missed that one. I went ahead and added a playhead position widget with the reset to 0, as its useful to have during practice.
An old post…but a very good one!! I had this exact same problem…couldn’t work out why a track or two would just randomly start playing!! Certainly is the case if you save it whilst it is in the midst of playing it remembers the state. Thank you!
