Is this a VST or a VST3 plugin? Does the problem occur with other DAWs?
It sounds like the plugin doesn’t support the standard VST SDK functions for getting and saving state
I just loaded Wavestate into GP5 and found a sound that was useful and saved the rackspace. When I load it into GP5 Wavestate remembers the patch. I’m using a MacMini M4
This is happening for me on both mac and PC, but can be intermittent. Sometimes if I reload gig performer it has the correct preset, but always on reboot of the system if goes to the first factory preset instead. In the forum discussions there doesn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason. It works ok for some people but not others, regardless of system or DAW
This is the VST3 version I’m using. I haven’t personally tried in another daw
Have you tried changing the Loading Type of that plugin from Normal to Delayed in the plugin manager?
Nope. But I will definitely be trying it. This synth gets exactly the sounds I want. I tried to substitute surge xt for it but I can’t really get it close.
