Buying a new Windows 11 Pro PC desktop with a 2TB NVMe SSD which I assume will have the OS and some preinstalled software.
I also purchased a second 2TB NVMe SSD that I will install after I get some initial things set up.
A question is, would it be best to partition the OS drive to 1TB so the OS can live on it’s own partition and then install all the music programs on the other partition?
Then for the VST libraries, install or move them to the second SSD that will also be partitioned to two 1TB each? I will also follow the performance tuning that I found here and have downloaded.
Just trying to figure out the best way to avoid Windows 11 Pro from interfering with performance.
Once I have everything installed, the plan is to not connect to the network except to phone home once a month as a couple of the things I have require that.
