Interesting Gig Performer quotes

I stumble upon a lot of Gig Performer testimonials and quotes, so I figured out that it may be interesting to share what I found! Of course, this all is not in any way some kind of a sponsored or paid promotion, I find this stuff using Google and is public.

The first one is by swill.music (Samuel N Williams) on Instagram.

This program (Gig Performer) has been holding down after MainStage embarrassed me a few times!

I also posted a “testimonial” from the ChatGPT bot here  (funny).

More quotes will be on the way.

Even I nowadays use mostly hardware keyboards I did nice control panel for 4 plugin keyboards in Gig Performer. All knobs, sliders and drawbars are assigned to Novation Impulse 61’s controllers and are working on 100% accuracy. Gig Performer is still the best plugin/midi host available and even i’m running old version of GP, this is still a front runner. Easy to use, very visualized, zero latency and stable. And no! This is not a paid advertisement!

Man oh man, did you guys get this right!!! No more Mainstage for me - best change I’ve ever made switching over. I was able to create over 100 patches in the space of an afternoon. I won’t say how long it took when I first started using Mainstage - and I’ve used Logic for many, many years.

Pleasantly surprised with my first deep dive into Gig Performer, the amazing plug-in
manager that lets me route effects with my Zendrum and laptop I honestly didn’t even know I had! All of my chimes, metallic percussion, ethnic drums and percussion are now bathed in colors and timbres I never thought possible to call up through this GUI interface. I’ve barely scratched the surface. Thanks!

You’ll love Gig Performer for your live rig. I’ve been using it every week since Oct 2017 and it has not failed me. I use VSTs exclusively.

The software is incredibly easy to use. With the visual wiring system - brilliant. It is powerful. It’s flexible and resource efficient. (I’m running it on an older 2012 era laptop)

Best software by far for your application is Gig Performer! I haven’t found anything it can’t do yet and it was made for live performance. Free trial available, a great support forum and plenty of info available. I’ve used most of the other options you mention and this beats them all!

Morning Experimentation. I’m really way out into uncharted territory. Gig Performer is amazing. I had been using some other software and was getting very discouraged by it.

Gig Performer is allowing me to get the sounds from my nogging into my ears with 0 frustration.

Having fun and feeling a spark with music and tech that I haven’t felt in a long time!

I’ve been using my stomp as an interface for Helix Native through Deskew Technologies Gig Performer. It’s been surprisingly good latency wise, much better than when I’ve loaded Native into REAPER. I’ve no idea why the latency via Gig Performer is so much lower than REAPER with the same buffer settings.

Oh, I know that guy. Thanks for sharing @npudar. It’s true, GP has flipped the script. It’s given me back the time I would spend fighting with other software allowing me to focus on making music and exploring ideas. Greatful the GP solution exists.

I used Ableton and it sucked. I used MainStage and it sucked. Gig Performer is way more user friendly.
The people in this forum are awesome. Go at it with a positive mindset and you’ll have plenty of people who will walk you through your problems.
Trust me. You will love Gig Performer.

For Mixing buds that find themselves having to use an M32 or X32 on a tour: A really simple and cost effective way to utilize plugins is to get Gig Performer. Ultra low latency, low CPU plugin host that’s allowing me to get 6 plugin chains through the AUX sends and returns on these consoles via the built-in interface.

I don’t know if it was like this for you when first getting into Gig Performer, but I keep these Holy S#1t moments thinking Oh WOW! I can do that !? The more I dig, the deeper this product gets.

Honestly: Best music-gear money I ever spent was on Gig Performer. And I’ve owned a ton of stuff over the past 40 years!
The difference in live performance between Gig Performer and Ableton Live (which I switched from, and which many people use live every day) can be measured in light years!
Stability, flexibility, and power are all simply off the charts. Just my .02.

Have used Cantabile in the past for a significant time, gave Gig Performer a try and have never looked back.

The support community is amazing and in my opinion it is the best VST host platform for live performance.

I use a Korg nanoKONTROL2 with my laptop that will give me 16 layers to mix at will when I am provided a midi capable keyboard at a gig, or I pack my RD2000 and use any combination of sounds throughout a performance using the setlist feature of Gig Performer along with the scene feature on the RD2000, sometimes several sound or mix changes per song.

I see a lot of former Cantabile users on the community forum.

I wasted no time in posting an enticing comment.
