I cannot manage to send any MIDI out from the MIDI Guitar 3 plugin

I have been using GP for years and just added Midi Guitar 3 into my setup. I instantiate the MG3 plugin and can get the plugin to work in keeping with the way the stand-alone app works. But, as you said, GP is a mush more powerful plugin host and I would rather use the MG3 plugin as a midi input for plugins hosted in GP.

I have the audio and MIDI input into MG3 working as well as audio output from MG3. BUT I cannot manage to send any MIDI out from the MG3 plugin.

Anyone know how to configure this?!

Have you tried using the MIDI GUITAR MINI preset? There’s nothing more you need to do inside MG3 to get midi signal.

Hello, i have the same problem in Macos using Midi guitar 2. The strand alone version works fine, but in GP and using (the only plugin version available) the audio unit block, there is no midi signal. Interestingly, the same issue happens with version 3 using AU, But using vst versions works fin in gp. Please help :slight_smile:

Yes. Prefer the VST version.
