How do you open Chord Pro lyrics Window by Pressing a widget button in the global rackspace?
With auto fit image button on and stay on top buttons on?
I think this options you have to set manually.
I’m sure I’ve seen a script some where to assign a widget to open chord/lyrics instead of using the menu
Yes, that Is possible.
But not “Auto Fit” and “Stay on Top”
You can do this only by using GP script - or a Scriptlet, which i just wrote.
Save it in your GP-Favorites folder, then insert it from the favorites menu into your wiring view.
Then you can learn a widget to the “Show lyrics window” parameter.
But as Pianopaul said, you can not determine how the window should behave.

Hi schamass - I downloaded the scriptlet and I can insert it from the favourites menu, but the block that appears in the wiring window is labelled “scriptlet open lyrics (missing)”.
I’ve downloaded twice, but same result (GP 5 essentials on Mac).
Scripting and scriptlets aren’t available in Gig Performer Essentials. Those are advanced features for Pro users.

And there I was thinking that 40+ years as a Guitarest and Audio Engineer made me a “Pro”…..
By Pro Users, he means users of the Pro version of GP.
