Shame on me. I upgraded my MacBook Air M1 to OS 15.2 and am regretting it. The issue is with B3-X. When I open up the VST in my rack spaces, all the presets within it are missing. All that appears is the default program. The settings in B3-X change correctly with the settings in my individual rack spaces, but everything is is gone. All my other plugins programs are present. In an attempt to fix this.
Did you report this to IK?
15.2 seriously broke my development machine to the point where I had to take it to Apple who ended up reflashing the firmware to get it to boot again. It was never the same again
That’s what the Apple support guy told me to do, so I guess I will. I’m running 15.2. I also thought. I also thought I’d delete B3-X and download a new file too.
I suppose you can downgrade using the Time Machine?
I recently went from Sonoma to OS 15.3 (because i was bored, I know, I know…)
Actually had no issues with anything, and on my MBP M1 B3-X is working fine.
Hm, I diid not use the B3-X for some time, however I upgraded some time ago to Sequoia 15.2 and now on 15.3
B3-X is OK on my M1pro MBP (AU Version) - all presets from IK available.
I have this mac from 2011 (yup, that old). With oclp I got Sonoma installed. Recently tried to upgrade to Sequoia 15.whatever. That didn’t work out well: I’m stuck with an extra macos installer. Luckily I can still boot the normal Sonoma partition and I only use this system for test-compilation of plugins.
Of course the setup isn’t supported whatsoever.
Update (though not that important):
Today I retried the upgrade and it succeeded. Then I had to upgrade Xcode and it took only three attempts to do that
I just updated to 15.3 and the presets are still gone. IK Multimedia said it’s a Permissions issue, so that’s my next step later today……
Update:
I deleted any and all B3-X file, unauthorized & uninstalled and then downloaded and authorized it again. Now, all the original presets are back as well as the recent ones I saved via GP the other day!
Thx all!
