GP in conjunction with Ableton Live?

Hey all! I am on the fence with getting Gig Performer 4 UL for my duo project.

We are rehearsing our live set now, which is brain’d by an Ableton Session with tempo changes, scenes for songs, etc.

How would one integrate GP into this setup if the Ableton Sessions is crucial but we would still want to take advantage of GP’s ability to run VST’s in a low latency environment.

I am a guitarist and my partner plays Push 2. Ideally I would love to have an all-digital setup with GP.

Is there a way to integrate GP on our one laptop while it’s running the Ableton session? Or would we need a second machine dedicated strictly to GP?

Hi @zisq, welcome to the family.

I am using Ableton Live together with Gig Perfomer.

In my use case GP is controlling Ableton Live.
Select the correct scene and start/stop the scene and control track levels via widgets from Gig Performer.
