GP 4.1.5 Glitching at 96K

Autosampler in Mainstage:
Does it create crossfades in the WAV-Files so Kontakt can use them?

Yes. Or use it in Logic, which is what I generally do. And yes, you can use it’s loops.
I just tried buffer of 192 and latency seems ok, but the combination of SEM and TAL still glitches.
I’ll try the other Juno emulations and/or sample the TAL patches.

Or you sample SEM

Did you try that combination in Mainstage?

Yes, it seems fine. Although the reveal sound Spire glitches at 96 K.
Finding the right combination of plugins that will work reliably seems problematic…

I have an Idea:

Gig Performer supports multiple instances.
So you could play TAL and Nexus in one instance and SEM in the other.
This way different Cores of the CPU are used and you should have no issue.
And with OSC or MIDI you can perfectly sync the different Instances.
Switch rackspaces at the same time, sync widgets for volume control etc.

I do that with my main Rig (keys) and my Drum Rig (SSD5 triggered by roland triggers) from the drummer.
For the keys instance I am using 192 Samples buffer and for the drummer instance 128 Samples.
I like perfect Drum Sound

Hmm, I didn’t know you can have multiple instances. I might try that - option 3
Could you implement multicore/processor support?
I’m running a 12-core 2013 Mac Pro, 64GB ram - pretty powerful machines

Right now multicore support is not yet implemented.
But multiple instances is a very good alternative.
This way you use Cores in Parallel and the complexity of a rackspace can be stripped down because you are using 2 rackspaces.

And on Mac there is no issue at all when more than 1 audio program uses the same interface…
On Windows you have to use a Multiclient ASIO driver, on Mac there is core audio

And - as I know - you can create as many instances as you like.
Each instance has it’s own options - for example Sample Buffe size.

I am quite sure when you use 2 Instances of GP the issues are gone.

I’ll try that tomorrow! Thanks

then its also a good idea to have a look at bluecats “connect” plugin,
could come in handy.
we have here also a own thread vs. it (plugin subforum)
