Isn’t the conclusion here that there are no VST3 plugins involved? Do you have a " reaktor.vst3" then?
AFAIK all native plugins end on .dll but i wil check my other system with all the native stuff on it.
Yeah, yu are right on that - there are actually no VST3 versions of Reaktor and Kontakt… at least i don’t have any.
geezzz louise learning a lot here
so vst3 = *.vst3
vst2 and vst1 = *.dll
GP scans for either *.vst3 from the VST3 path and *.dll from the VST path
in the latter case, it will only actually identify 64 bit plugins as those are the ones it can work with.
Am i getting this right?
Seems you got it!

awesome thanks so much for your time
i realize now how this problem persisted for so long, because on one hand i unwittingly have been putting 64 bit plugins in the vst3 folders for ages, causing GP to not find it, and at the same time GP cannot see the 32bit regular plugins in the regular VST folder… I thought i must have been BLIND so i am glad at least that is not the case… Never had an issues with this because the DAW i use just uses one line of paths and scans without distinction, so it slipped by without ever causing an issue until now.
Wow, thanks a lot !
You’re welcome!
… guess i earned some Karma-points today.
If i ever should come to Utrecht, we should have a beer or two.
It is not the german style to stop at two

We should make a Gig Performer Conference Day
Thanks to you i am stuck with his gp4 trial hahaha and there’s probably no going back
this looks really sweet, i think i will have to let my boss know we will need to upgrade
still no grid in the wiring view… my OCD to get all those boxes on one line will be the end of my wrists…
There is no grid, but you can now select multiple plugins and center them, for example
Center them vertically or horizontally and distribute them horizontally or vertically
I do not like symmetry in the wiring window, but when I need it for other stuff, I use this good old grid that I drew a long time ago. Always useful
wow great tips, thanks everyone!
