I really am enjoying this rig for organ! Gig performer with a stream deck! Used it at the Stagecoach Festival this past weekend in Indio CA with the artist Brent Cobb
More info, more info.
Computer specs, plugins used, audio interface, whatever comes across your mind
What Stream Deck features do you use the most?
For plugins im using B3-X primarily for organ although I do use VB3 here and there. Arturia Wurli, Rhodes V8, Pianoteq, Arturia Piano for upright. That pretty much it on this gig. Pretty organic vibe for the keys. Im using SSL channel strips on each instrument as well as soft SSL Limiters on the global rack outputs. Verbs are mostly Slate plugins, and thats really the only FX im using in this situation.
The stream deck is definitely an important player with this particular rig. I built the stream deck into the organ. I use the setlist functionality a ton, and have programed various OSC and MIDI controls to buttons wherever needed. It functions as my primary tactile control surface for anything other than organ, which im using the D9X to control. In some situations where im also playing other instruments ill integrate the stream deck and the Fractal together for deeper control over instr. switching and just having options of where I controls things.
The Audio interface in this particular situation was my Fractal Axe-FX3. I had a couple other gigs this weekend at Stagecoach on other instruments with other artists that my fractal was apart of the rigs for. I just made sense to also use it for the keys interface. Its really flexible and has 8 outs. I also use the fractal multiband Comp on the outputs which does a great job.
The cabs are Fender Tone Master Full Range cabs. They sound fantastic and are 1000w each. Highly recommend them.
The best plugin you are using is the B3 wooden case😜
agreed!
