Copying existing file into new instance

So I created gig file for my instruments and one for my vocals.
I didn’t realize that in order to have two instances open you have to create files using
new instance in the menu. Is there a way to copy my existing gig file for vocals into
a new instance that I open from my instrument file?

Open the Vocal instance from the Instrument instance.
Then in that Vocal instance, open the ‘gig file for vocals’ that you referenced.

Thanks I just figured out you can open an existing file when you create new instance
