Can someone please help me get my head around using ESP in the Global rackspace

I want to start using Yamaha’s ESP in the globlal rackspace. Ive already put it there and can play it. I want to load up a few instruments (Pianos’s, strings and Brass) in a Performance and use scenes to change what gets played. I dont intend to use any program changes at this point so just this one Performance.

I dont know if this is the best way, but ive created Widgets that change the Scenes and put those in the Global RS as well.

The question is really how to activate those Scene widgets from racks[paces when i select the racksacpe in a song, or am i looking about it the wrong way? I think the latter is the case.

You can link a local widget to a global widget.

Thanks Paul. I had considered that, but it feels like im duplicating things. Is there a way to send the CC directly to the plugin? I don really need the Widgets in the Global Rackspace if I can change the scenes directly.

Im also not sure how to link widgets from the RS to the GRS. I can figure that bit out though.

You can send a CC message via a MIDI In block.
