As for the MIDI In devices, people usually have them in local rackspaces.

For a Streaming Audio File Player to switch rackspaces, you need to put it in the Global rackspace.

You don’t need to have your iPad Bluetooth in any rackspace: the PCs are catched/distributed by GP via the global MIDI settings

Just pick your BT iPad here and GP. GP will use the PCs received here to change Songs if you have assigned any PC/LSNB/MSB in the first Song Part

LOL - onsong support ? Have had a issue with something onsong for a VERY long time and sitll not sorted out but like others have too much invested in it really to switch

Sorry to hear that. I can only say, that it worked OK for me, until I switched for some other reasons to Bandhelper…

I discovered a game changer when it comes to navigating your setlist using OnSong.
No need to use MSB/LSB or limit yourself to Program Changes.

I found an option in OnSong that sends the name of the song in a MIDI SysEX message when changing songs. You can capture this SysEx message using a scriptlet and have Gig Performer switch to that song.

The key is that you want the song titles to match exactly, including casing.

I have sucessfully used OnSong to change GP programs for quite a few years. The secret for me was Bome Network on both the iPad and PC. Works reliably using WiFi or Ethernet. Bluetooth not involved.
