Nothing there. Should the file(s) be added by Elgato when installing the plugin or do I need to add the extension some other way and then use Elgato to install the plugin?
I haven’t used this extension (I don’t have a Stream Deck), but from the instructions in the first post of the thread I believe there are two parts to the install: 1) install the part through Elgato, and 2) download the GP extension from GitHub and place that in the folder I mentioned above.
OK, I just downloaded the file from github and unzipped it and then clicked on it and it installed itself on Streamdeck.
Then the next time I opened Gig Perform, it asked if I wanted to install the extension. Then it all worked so I guess there is nothing to do within Elgato.
I just wanted to try the integration of a Stream Deck MK.2 - seems to be a great addition!
Unfortunately, I’m also struggling. After successfully installing version 1.4 (MacOS x64 from GitHub to the Stream Deck App the Extensions folder remains empty.
Is there a way to get the most recent dylib file separately, @timothyschoen ?
Might this have to do with the localization of MacOS (“shared” is called differently in the German version)?
I’m on MacOS 14.7.1.
However, if I copy the path (right click + option key), the path is
/Users/Shared/Gig Performer/Extensions
which looks OK, but - unfortunately - empty.
While you were typing I tried the same on my MacBook (Silicon) with the ARM version of the extension and, unfortunately, the same thing happens: Plugin installed, extension folder empty.
Didn’t know there was another way, so that’s how I’ve done it all the time (with right click and “open”).
That .dylib looks interesting!
However, I don’t know how to extract that - the usual “show content” (or whatever it’s called in English) when you right click on a container file doesn’t exist for the “com.deskew.gigperformermacx64.streamDeckPlugin”.
