[blog] Dealing with back-lined or rented keyboards

Best practices on how to deal with back-lined or rental keyboards for touring musicians who don’t bring their own MIDI controllers → read this blog article.

Interesting. My solution has been to bring my own MIDI cable/interface, and treat the keyboard as a ‘dumb’ controller.
I’m switching rack spaces with the arrow keys on the laptop, but looking into TouchOSC or maybe a hardware controller, as I frequently use the iPad for charts. BTW, any recommendations for hardware controllers (basically buttons or num pad to switch patches/rack spaces) are appreciated!
