Animoog VST3 crashes in Gig Performer. There is no problem in Cubase. Stand alone works too. The error appeared suddenly. The plugin was working before. I am not aware that I have changed anything. What could be the reason for this, what can I do?
You will need to post the crash report, and any other details about when it occurred. For example, did it crash while loading GP, while opening the plugin window, while changing rackspaces.
If you are on Windows:
Oh, I forgot to mention that it’s a Macbook. And GP doesn’t crash either, just the Animoog VST3 stops working.
And even stranger: I’ve just rebuilt everything and set it up in a new Gig Prest. And the Animmog is currently running.
What does that mean? Presumably it’s not making sounds but does he plugin editor respond when you click on controls in it? Can you delete it from the wiring view? Is it stopping other plugins from working?
Animoog makes no sound, does not react to clicks, has no influence on other plugins, but can be deleted from the wiring.
Is this reproducible or did it just happen once?
Yes. But now I’ve replaced the Vst3 with the AU version of Animoog. It runs stable. Well, I guess it’s hard to find out why that is.
Update: after a while it crashes too.
