After my latest MacOS update Cherry Audio Plugins Freeze When Editing

OS and version: MacBook Air M3, 2024 MacOS 26.5.2

Computer hardware: RAM - 16 GB, CPU - M3, SSDs - Internal 256 GB Apple Fabric and External 2 TB PCI-Express.

Gig Performer version: Gig Performer Pro 5.2.2

Plugins involved: Cherry Audio - Octave Cat ver 1.0.2 Build 61, and P-10 ver 1.0.11 build 77

My issue: After my latest MacOS update sometimes one or both of these two plugins freeze up if I open them in GP. They will not allow me to edit any parameters. They do play from the MIDI input and they will also play fro the plugin if I press a key on the virtual keyboard in the plugin but the plugin UI does not reflect that a key was pressed.

What have you tried so far: When this happens I have tried a reboot and reloading on GP, sometimes that will clear it up. I have tried opening the standalone plugin and then reopen in GP and that seems to work also. It seems to be happening more frequently but I do not have any specific triggering scenarios.

NOTE: The gig file is 67.3 MB, it takes about 4 minutes to load, there are about 45 rackspaces.

One thing I forgot to mention is that it only seems to happen with the VST3 plugin. I had tried removing the P-10 VST3 from my rackspace and adding the VST plugin and I did not get the freezing behavior.

If you do a search, lots of people have reported issues with audio and Tahoe.

Have you checked with Cherry Audio?

Have you tested VST3 plugins from other companies?

Best practice is to turn off automatic updates. Generally, to be careful with them.

No audio issues, just UI freezing issues.

I have many other VST3 plugins and I only have this issue with the Cherry Audio plugins
