Won't Get Fooled Again on Arturia Arp 2600 V3 - External Sound Input Disabled?

In trying to get ready for a gig with this sont, I am following David’s video (Gig Performer | How to play "Won't Get Fooled Again" with Gig Performer) exactly (except using Hammond B3-X as the organ patch) and I’ve made all the connections but I can’t get any sound at all.

More specifically, there is no sound when I connect the Hammond VST to the audio inputs and then, in the Arp 2600, try to connect the Pre-Amp Out to the Ring Mod in on the VCF (and I have the other connections made to the audio in/outs as well). I’ve fiddled with the sliders to see if it is a levels issue, but no luck.

I’ve come across some concerning discussion in other forums suggesting that Arturia may have disabled this function in the latest version. ARP V3 is not an effect send in Logic Pro X and External Inputs. Does anyone here know if that’s true, and if so, whether there’s a workaround?

I am regretting the Arturia Arp 2600purchase, since playing Won’t Get Fooled and Baba O’Reilly in the upcoming gig were the main reason I bought it.

Would really appreciate any advice on how to troubleshoot and fix.

Thanks

Can you upload a small gig file?

Sure. The difficulty I have is at step one – in David’s tutorial I should be hearing the sound, then I add the gate and sweep effects.

Thanks pianopaul!

Please post a screenshot showing the wiring in Gig Performer

I had a decent result making a chain with a “all out” drawbar organ into a tremolo (full on off effect using a square wave), and then into a slow phaser. It’s pretty close. I used IK B3X, then effects of Guitar Rig from Native Instruments.
I did years ago, before watching mentioned video, which is sensational.

Connect the outputs of the Hammond to the pair of inputs on the right of the 2600

Yes, now it is working.

Yeah, somehow, between the time I created that video (4 years ago or so) and now, Arturia changed that plugin so that the external audio has to come in through the rightmost inputs. Not sure why though – I don’t know what else can be sent in through the leftmost inputs.

Thank you, all!

I take it that worked?

Yes. It did. Thank you.
