here is an interesting one -
when playing live - all of a sudden the Keylab notes in the lower octaves were not playing correctly.
two keys were playing the same note and even the upper octaves - something didnt work
In other words the 88 keys were not playing as the corresponding note.
Fortunately I just unplugged the USB to the computer and reconnected it and it worked just fine.
(I had a situation last week where it was playing an organ sound - even though there was no organ on the rackspace and did the same thing)
the cable is a supplied Arturia cable.
Any ideas on why this would occur?
(also one other note - I accidentally hit the arpeggiator button while performing - i think there is a way to disable that from arturia - but is that best practice? - i could disable at the midi block but then do I have to go into each of my rackspaces and do that?)
Any chance to reproduce the issue?
Im going to try! what do you need from me when (if) I can make that happen - (first time that happened I looked at the midi monitor and everything read correctly - I recall pressing the G#2 and it showed G#2 on the midi monitor - but when I pressed D#2 it showed correctly on the midi monitor too - but when I looked at the midi block the key showed me pressing the D#2 but the screen said the note was G#2… I hope I explained that right)
anyway Ill give it go when i have access
Maybe the MIDI in block was transposed?
Ive had something similar happen to my Keylab E3 61. it was definitely the keyboard and not the software, as I tired it with Pianoteq stand alone and it was also doing it. In my case I did reset the keyboard and it has only happened once.
When you say reset - what did you do (I just unplugged it and plugged it in) - pretty sure that solved the phantom organ sound too
I mean I did a hard reset (holding down buttons when turning on). Then I loaded my presets back to it. It’s been fine ever since.
IIR I had a similar issue with my Keylab MKII as well, although again, only once. In that instance certain notes would stop sending midi data out.
