Does anyone see any advantage to using Waves Super Rack Performer, rather than GP5

Nope. It doesnā€™t seem to do anything as well as GP does, and has less functionality.
My 2 cents.

I avoid anything Waves too many issues with their money grubbing policies.

There are these Pilot Plugins Pilot Plugins: MIDI Generator VST Plugins for Music Producers - Pilot Plugins and one of them is Pilot Chordsā€¦

I had a look at this because thier new Feedback Hunter plugin (which I was vaguly interested in) isnā€™t available as a VST (yet?). According to the blurb, it can run in SuperRack or StudioVerse (which is a VST and can run inside GP, so I thought it would work as a wrapper)ā€¦

But no (Although the website says it should, so maybe that will be fixed soon). So I gave up trying after that.

I suspect super rack would be fine though. So along with the Dugan auto mixer plugin and perhaps a couple of other ā€˜liveā€™ sound plugins, this the only reasson I can think of to get super rack.

Sorry guys, I am so used to throwing in my handle, that I forgot my name ā€œGlenā€ is right at the top of my posts. Never been a pilot, but wanted to as a kid. If the water heater or stove go out, I know what to do with the pilotā€¦ lol [ Thanks for all the replies ] I figured it was money saved by skipping the Studio Rack Performer.
