Waves plug-in not showing

Hi All !

Waves Central shows that my plug-in is installed/ activated.
It is not showing in GP3.

Has anyone experienced this?

THANK YOU FOR READING!!!

Best,
Paul

I have that plugins, what version are you using?
AU or VST?

Maybe the plugins are installed in a folder that isn’t known to Gig Performer? You can include additional paths in the plugin manager, to be searched on start up.
Or have you probably installed the 32bit version? This won’t work either.

Yo! VST

On Mac or Windows?

Do they show in red in plugin Manager window?

MAC

Yes, the plug-in shows RED.

THANK YOU

Ok, then it is no wonder.
Try to delete the red entries and do a rescan.
What shell version are you using?
V9, V10, V11 or V12?

Hey!

V12

I deleted/ closed/ reopened… nothing…

The plug-in doesn’t show when I go to INSERT it.

THANK YOU

Did you delete the red entries in plugin Manager window and rescan again?

Thank you…

I deleted the plug-in and restarted GP3. That said, I didn’t select any type of RESCAN. Were is that located, please?

If you are referring to the SCAN option under PREFERENCES, then yes, that has been selected the entire time.

P

In the main menu you can open the plugin Manager window.
Here you see a list of scanned plugins.
At the bottom of this window you see plugins which could not be validated and These are shown on red.
You can delete this entries by pressing I think the backspace or delete key.
The when you do a rescan - there is a button under this List of plugins -
maybe the plugins can be validated.

And you are sure you installed the 64 bit versions of waves plugins and activated them?
Or even better, do they work in Logic or Mainstage or another DAW you are using?

I’m in GP3… where do I locate the main menu in question. please?

Try this
Window => Plugin Manager via the GP Main menu

WINDOW… found it, thank you.

Rescan didn’t work. I’m going to bail on this fucker and use another plug-in.

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!

You deleted the red entries and did a rescan and it is not working?
In waves central you see it as 64 Bit Version and it is activated?

Which plugin does not work?

Open Plugin Manager Window

At the bottom you see failed plugins

Just mark the failed and delete it with the backspace key
And then do a Scan

Or just select “Rescan Failed Plugins” which will automatically remove the red/failed ones and try to rescan them again.
