VSTs silently not appearing on Rackspace

Although plugins are enabled in Plugin Manager, All Green…
When trying to load a VST on a Rackspace, noting happen.
Nothing appear, no warning, nothing
Any clue? Is there an error log I can look into?

Are you on Intel or Apple Silicon? How were these plugins installed? Did they used to work and stopped?

Apple M3 Pro
The plugins were there for a long time as I use them in my DAW (Reaper) without issue.

Reaper is completely irrelevant to this.

Did these plugins ever work with Gig Performer?

Are or were you ever running Gig Performer under Rosetta?

My bet is the following:

  1. The plugins that are failing are Intel only, not Apple Silicon or Universal

  2. You probably started by running the Intel version of Gig Performer under Rosetta on your M3 or possibly you migrated GP from an Intel machine complete with the settings and all the plugins.

Later, you started running the Apple Universal version of GP but you did not clear your plugin scanner, consequently those Intel plugins would still show as verified but they won’t load under the Universal version.

Try the following:
Right click on each of those plugins and select “Remove from list”

Then rescan — I bet those two plugins will now show up as failed (at the bottom of the list in red)
