VSL CFX Essentials

I find a post in the PianoClack forum, here, written by user OlivierW.

I tested the VSL CFX Essentials during the current trial period, and it’s a very nice compact piano. Along with VI Labs Modern D and Ivory 3 American D, it’s one of my favorite pianos. For the price, it’s definitely a great instrument.

However, VSL still hasn’t implemented a true sustain pedal behavior, and what they call “sympathetic resonance” in their player doesn’t really work at all.

So I enhanced the VSL CFX Essentials using my advanced setup with Gig Performer 5.1.6 Pro and Pianoteq 9, bringing in realistic pedal resonance, repedaling behavior, key interaction, and smooth transitions.

You can download my advanced programming here, including all presets for VSL pianos, if you are using Gig Performer 5.1.6 and Pianoteq 9 alongside your VSL instruments.
