Clarification about WUP: I have a friend who gave up Waves plugins for the same kind of reason even though he is on Windows because on Mac the conditions look different.

ahh, ā¦ i couldnĀ“t connect the dots 
yeah, iĀ“d figure it could happen that i just have to rebuy ( for 29$ again ?) in case i update my machine ( M1mac).
ā¦and would look then if i really took a use out of what i have from them.
