Vocal processing with audio pitch detection

Hello!

I play guitar in a covers band and would like to retire the TC Helicon Voicelive 3 which I’ve been using to generate backing vocal harmonies and doubling. The device analyses the chords I’m playing on the guitar for the harmonies. Is there anything similar in a VST that could be used within GP? I’m sure there must be something available but if so I haven’t managed to find it.

Perhaps this :

Together with this to generate the MIDI notes :

Thank you! I’ll check out the Midi Guitar trial version.

I have tried many VSTs (including the Waves and Antares plugins) to replace my TC Helicon Perform-VK regarding harmonizing.
Unfortunately, nothing comes close.

Those are great for the robotic vocoding sounds you hear in today’s pop music. But if you are looking for as natural a sound as possible, the Helicon is the way to go. I swapped it out for a few months last year, but found myself going back to it.

Fortunately, GP allows for MIDI Out blocks where I can send the info to the Helicon from anywhere on any keyboard and map it to meet the proper vocal range.

This is how the Waves Harmony sounds:

Decades ago I checked this

Did you buy it and test it to make sure you didn’t need it???

Exactly

Then I decided to use a hardware solution, TC Helicon Rack.
Then I decided not so sing anymore …

So the final solution not to sing anymore was not cheap and therefore a wise decision.

When I would sing now it would be a waste of money

I had to use Waves Harmony with GP on a show without really knowing how to use both software because my band’s visas didn’t come through in time & had to get last minute replacements (no backup singers though). It worked really well! Used it like that guy in the vid, playing the notes on the keys. So ya, I also recommend it.
