Well yeah, of course. The global midi monitor shows what is coming into Gig Performer from the outside.
It is not going to be affected by whatever transpose value you set in a MIDI in block.
To see what is actually coming out of a MIDI In block and into Real Guitar, you need to insert a local MIDI in block plugin between the MIDI in block and Real Guitar
Only just now. And it works well, actually better than my own workaround. I did have to slightly rearrange the order.as per ss below. Cheers, and many thanks!
I am having trouble transposing multiple plugin. One alone works fine. If I wire up the transpose mechanism to a second plugin, the plugins tend to interfere with each other. If I want to transpose a whole complete band of say five plugins, perhaps drums, bass, piano, guitar and strings, how would I do this?
Youâll have to make separate signal branches.
This means you also have to use separate widgets to set the corresponding transpose for each branch. If they all must have the same value, just put the widgets in a link group (and maybe hide some of them).
Please use the ânewâ Transposer Scriptlet (it allows you to change the transposition while playing, which wonât work with the former scriplet version). Transposer New SCR.gig (107.0 KB) Transposer new SCR.gpfav (2.0 KB)
Do not use Link groups for the transpose widgets (yet)! This will cause GP 4.8 to freeze⌠this issue should be fixed with the next upcoming version of Gig Performer.
This means: Right now you sure can transpose each of the plugins, but youâd have to adjust them separately, if all issues are fixed, youâll be able to put the three widgets into one link group, so all of them will move in sync.
