Hi all,
this might be more interesting for sound designers and a bit overkill for live players, but UVI has the Sonic Bundle sale going. That means everything, ALL of their instruments, sound packs, Falcon 3, etc. is included for 799,-. And there are further discounts if you own UVI stuff already.
I own 2 libraries and got an offer with 25% off.

EDIT: About 1 TB. Hmm.

EDIT 2: Grrr. No “Install All” option that I can find in the UVI Portal app. Plus, you can’t queue more than 3 libraries at the same time. And the bundle added over 100 new ones. PITA. Sheesh. At least iLok authorized all of the new individual libraries when I authorized the bundle. Good on them.

Well, considering that I only have two of their instruments, Percussion Factory and Prime 8+ and that the latter was a freebie at the time I got it, the offer is really tempting…
The sane side in me says that I don’t need the full bundle, because I already have the Arturia Collection, Korg Collection, IK’s Total Studio Max and Native’s Komplete Ultimate, but obviously serious GAS kicks in. D… it, Falcon alone is 299,-.
I’m afraid I know where this is going to end… :see_no_evil:

I have had Falcon for years but I never got into it — for sampling and manipulation, it always seemed much harder to use than Kontakt. Can you do the kinds of routings, groups, individual waveform manipulation with Falcon that you can do with Kontakt?

Same here. I was mostly interested in adding the VIs that I can play via the UVI Workstation.

Actually I never got into Kontakt’s inner features, apart from combining different nkis with their respective keyboard ranges and sending those to different outputs. I’ve never used it for sampling.

In Falcon 3 there are some arpeggiators I’m interested in, but what really interests me are some of the VIs like, World Suite 3, the Quadra series, Beat Anthology 2, some of the rhythmic stuff and the foley fx.
Even without Falcon and all its expansions it would be a pretty good deal for me.
