Early on, I contacted Ujam and asked about midi out (the lack of it). Down the track, I have found that there is a lot of content in all the V basses, in fact more than I have used so far. And because they all sound very good, there is no need to use other bass sounds even if midi out was available.
Regarding the synching issue I mentioned in the original posting. With ongoing experience, it has become a non - issue. I have also found a way to start the V bass using a midi note command, and that has been helpful in some songs.
