If you are a current Gig Performer v4 Deskew license holder, then you can download this update free of charge from this link. There are upgrade and cross-grade rates available for users transitioning from other versions.

So do I just download the update and install it? Will it automatically recognize that I am a licensed user?
Yes, it was so for me.
I think I read the answer regarding a previous update, but…
If I download and install this (I will have to purchase too, since I originally bought from PluginAlliance), it would just run separate and alongside the earlier version? So, I could just keep using the old version along side (in the event there is any issue)?
Or, does it actually update the prior version?

I had both installed, Gig Performer 4 PA and Gig Performer 4 Deskew. No problems.
I also had Gig Performer 3 PA and Gig Performer 3 Deskew. No problems.
Of course, I encourage you to create a backup (just in case).

Actually, once you get a GP4 license the Deskew version, it will work with the earlier (4.58) version so you can just download that from our legacy page if you really needed it
However, be aware that changes you make in a gigfile in 4.7 may break the earlier version so make sure you keep a backup of your gigfiles
